Fun Fridays with Friends (In-Person)

This theme based curriculum for FUN FRIDAYS WITH FRIENDS  will: 

• Allow time for students to socialize with each other

• Provide movement/exercise in their day

• Educate about a topic through reading, writing, science, history etc.through various methods of learning - visual, auditory & kinesthetic. 

• Give students an opportunity to create their own pictures, crafts, projects

• Give students an opportunity to do “work projects” for ACES 

At this time, the program is small with only two teachers in a facility which does have stairs etc. In order for there to be a safe environment for all participants, the students should be able to: 

• Communicate effectively with others to express their own needs.

• Use the restroom independently without assistance

• Eat snacks and lunch without assistance

• Use the stairs in the building without assistance 

• Stay with a group when going outside

• Follow simple instructions

**NEW PARTICIPANTS** Once participant is registered, you will be contacted to schedule an intake interview with your participant. We would love to sit down with you and talk about goals, questions or concerns you have for the program. This time also gives the teachers the opportunity to be prepared for the unique qualities of each participant.
