All Participants ages 3 and up MUST be registered!! There are 50 student tickets and 25 adult chaperone tickets available for general admission – NO CHARGE for general admission with the group. Schedule for the Day 9:30 am - Arrival at the Great Entry Hall (drop off lunches) 10:15 am-12:45 pm - Self-guided Museum Exploration 12:45 pm - 1:05 pm - Lunch in the Group Center (Lunches may be stored upon arrival at 9:30am) or you may carry your own lunch throughout the museum or purchase food at the Cafe.) 1:30 pm - *OPTIONAL* Film: Antarctica ($6/person) The most remote continent in the world is a land of mystery, and yet, what happens here affects every single one of us. With never-before-seen footage, this story brings audiences to the farthest reaches of this wild and majestic place. It is the coldest, driest and windiest place on Earth with the roughest oceans, but it’s also home to weird and wonderful creatures in astounding abundance. 2:00 pm - 4:00 pm - Families may stay to tour the museum, visit the gift shops and depart at any time before the museum closes. 2:10 pm - *OPTIONAL* Exhibit: Numbers in Nature (Free but must have a timed ticket) 2:20 pm - *OPTIONAL* Exhibit: Numbers in Nature (Free but must have a timed ticket) Out the window, through a microscope, or in the mirror—patterns surround us. They form the veins of a leaf, the spiral of a nautilus, and the spots on a giraffe. Patterns also inspire us as we create or build things: some arrangements just … feel right.
