Every homeschool family has a story. Everyone loves a success story. The triumphant celebration. The phoenix rising from the ashes. But every meaningful story has an Act II in the middle. The messy part where stuff happens. The plans change. The characters struggle. Questions and doubts occur. Mistakes are made. It can look (and feel!) messy and uncomfortable. But what if we began to think about the middle differently? What if the middle - the part we’d rather skip (or at least not talk about!) is where the most important work of our story actually happens? Welcome to The Magical Middle. Join the ACES Education Family Foundation for our annual Back-to-School Homeschool Parent Retreat as we explore this year's theme: Embracing Your Homeschool Story. Through inspiring speakers, authentic stories, meaningful conversation, personal reflection, and creative expression, we'll explore the experiences and expectations that have shaped us, the unexpected moments that have changed our path, and the choices we make as we continue writing the next chapters. This retreat is not about having the perfect homeschool story. It's about honoring the one you already have. Whether you're just beginning your homeschool journey, are years into the adventure, are navigating unexpected challenges, or simply wondering what comes next, you are invited to pause for a morning and consider: Where have I been? Because being in the middle doesn't mean the story is broken. It means the story is still unfolding. And sometimes, the middle holds more magic than we can see while we're living it.Embracing Your Homeschool Story
